Mensch Club

Temple Beth-El’s Men’s Club, fondly known as the Mensch Club, fosters the highest ideals of Judaism through social and educational activities in the spirit of fellowship, friendship, and education. Club presentations cover topics related to our identity as Jews, both in the Las Cruces community, and as we relate to society in general. The “Discovering Judaism Through Film” program has been revived as an ongoing activity. Other activities include construction of the Sukkah, organizing ushers for the High Holy Days, making presentations to B’nai Mitzvah, and administering the Rabbi Gerald M. Kane Adult Education Fund. Recent acquisitions by the Fund include an overhead projector, DVD player, projector screen, as well as DVD’s of Jewish interest. In addition, the Mensch Club President has a seat on the Temple’s Board of Directors.

All male members of Temple Beth-El are invited to join us as members and participate in our activities. Dues are currently $36 per year.
